Alyssa

Alyssa Rachelle is an award-winning director, producer and writer with years of experience in the entertainment industry. Her film career started with the production of the short films The Party and Randi’s Birthday, where she held the role of producer. Shortly after, she wrote, produced and directed her first short film A Girl’s Guide to Soul Search. Alyssa has worked on widely popular television shows such as Style Star on the Style Network, Judge Alex, Cristina’s Court and Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court, and has produced corporate videos for clients including Harris County, Texas, the City of Houston and a host of nonprofits and small businesses as well as podcasts focusing on entrepreneurship and indie filmmakers.

Her award-winning documentary, GUMBO has been seen on AspireTV and will be featured on Amazon Prime and Tubi.  Her latest film The Woman I Was Dying to Know is making its rounds in film festivals. Alyssa received a Journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin and received her MFA in Screenwriting from Houston Christian University. She has contributed her writing to MadameNoire.com, Atlanta Blackstar, Black and Married with Kids and AJC.com, focusing on relationships, parenting and business.
